My name is Ri Lindegren (ree lend-a-grin),
founder of Dances With Tech, where movement meets media, and technology becomes a creative partner instead of a barrier
I help artists, educators, and creatives tell their stories, grow their skills, and share their work with ease, joy, and integrity.
My approach is rooted in embodied practice and forward-thinking media tools so your vision is seen clearly and felt deeply.
Here’s how we can work together:
-
Movement-informed video and photo production for performances, promos, and archives.
-
Practical, playful tech education that replaces overwhelm with confidence.
-
Creative consulting to map ideas into action and bring your projects to life.
-
Tech-free Body Sync Sessions to slow down, reset, and reconnect with your own body’s wisdom.
Because your creative work, and your creative self, deserves to be visible, impactful, and cared for.
Media made with care.
Tech taught with heart.
Support rooted in movement.
At Dances With Tech, every offering is a bridge between embodied practice and digital expression.
From live performance shoots to hands-on tech workshops, I bring an artist-first approach to every frame, tool, and lesson, making sure your story is told with clarity, creativity, and integrity.
You make the art. I help you show it: clearly, beautifully, and on your own terms.
Whether we’re filming your latest work, organizing your digital archives, mapping your next big project, or moving together in a Body Sync Session, we’ll approach the process as collaborators.
Let’s amplify your creative voice and make technology feel less like a barrier, and more like a dance partner.

"What I like most about working with Dances With Tech was how they were able to deliver a best practice workshop to artists that was approachable and easy to engage at all levels of technical capabilities on artistic documentation."
"Dances With Tech was able to provide a creative solution by giving artists a quick and easy tutorial to create meaningful documentation of their artwork."
Liliana Gomez
Managing Director of BlakTinx Dance Festival
"Working with Dances with Tech was a flawless collaboration. I asked for clear, nice video footage that each choreographer can take with them for any future submissions.
What Dances With Tech delivered was WOW, WOW, WOW, beyond that, each video was perfect, the lighting was bright, close ups at exactly the areas that needed it, the sound was crystal clear -- it's the best videography of dance I have ever received back. Watching it made me feel like I was in the audience. Ri is incredibly talented, the recording of our festival is magnificent. Thank you so much for this gift. "

Creative Director,
Oregon Shakespeare Festival
"Ri Lindegren is extraordinary to work with not only because of her breadth of technical knowledge and creative skills, but also because of her team-nourishing approach of being thoughtful, friendly, and sensitive to the needs of all different kinds of people.
Those on our creative team and beyond never had enough wonderful things to say about working with Ri!
She helped get our team operating at a level where we could meet and exceed our goals."
What kinds of projects do you film?
I work with artists, educators, and creative teams to document live performances, create promo reels, produce dance films, and capture behind-the-scenes stories.
Do you only work with dancers?
Nope! While I specialize in movement-based work, I’ve filmed theater, music, interdisciplinary art, educational programs, and creative community events. I love working with educators, artists, entrepreneurs, and innovative thinkers of all kinds.
Do you travel for projects?
Yes! I’m based in Phoenix, AZ but available for travel. Additional travel costs apply outside the local area.
What’s the turnaround time for video edits?
Most projects are ready in 2–4 weeks depending on complexity. Rush edits are available—just ask!
Do you offer tech training or consulting separate from filming?
Absolutely. I lead workshops, 1:1 sessions, and organizational trainings on digital tech tools, video production skills, and creative project planning.
