From Solo Shoots to Shared Vision

DanceTheRoof (2016), a community event I hosted in NYC to bring dancers and videographers together. Filming collaboratively is one of my favorite ways to create.
For over a decade, I filmed performances on my own, setting up two cameras side by side, capturing wide and close-up shots, and dashing around like a hummingbird trying to be everywhere at once. While I still offer solo shoots when it makes sense, I’ve expanded my work into co-created media because I believe your art deserves more than a single perspective.
Working with a small team, whether a duo or quartet, means your project is documented with greater care, nuance, and artistry. It’s not just about coverage; it’s about creating an ecosystem of collaboration where trusted colleagues, emerging videographers, and mentees all contribute their skill and perspective. You benefit from multiple viewpoints, while also supporting a community of media makers earning equitable wages.
I offer clear packages to ensure fair pricing and sustainable practices, with pricing flexibility for community projects and artists when availability allows. The result?
Documentation that honors your work, reflects its complexity, and holds the same values of creativity, care, and integrity that went into making it.
Why This Matters
Who It's For
We Value
Media is memory.
Co-created media ensures your performance is captured through multiple perspectives, so it lives on with the same richness and resonance it carried in the room.
When your work is captured through many lenses, it becomes more than just documentation, it becomes an archive of perspectives, a story that connects audiences now and in the future.
Artists, educators, and organizations who want media that captures the essence, not just the footage. I listen deeply, honor your aesthetic, and bring the right team when needed so you can stay in your creative lane while we handle the tech.

Behind-the-Scenes:
Show Your Work (Your Way) – Process Documentation
Another way that we approach video work is through a smart and effective 4‑step documentation arc capturing the full life of a project, so you have a cohesive record for archives, grants, marketing, and audience rewatching.
The 4 Step Process:
What we capture (pick the phases you need):
-
Creative Spark | Inspiration – origin story, intent, early sketches
-
Making Process | Rehearsal – how it’s built: rehearsal, tests, interviews
-
Endpoint | Performance – multi‑cam capture + highlight

Future Dreams | Goals – impact, next steps, calls‑to‑action
We address: Who, Why, What, How, Impact.
We show: purpose, intention, discoveries, challenges, aha moments, audience response, and the future you’re aiming toward.
