Documenting Your Work With Ease

Finally capture, organize, and share your creative work without tech overwhelm.

For artists who have ever thought:

  • “I wish I had filmed that rehearsal.”

  • “I have thousands of photos but can never find anything.”

  • “How do I actually turn this footage into something usable?”

  • “What do grant panels or presenters even want to see?”

This workshop will help you build a simple, sustainable system for documenting your creative work, using tools you probably already have.

You'll learn how to capture stronger photos and videos, organize your media, and turn your documentation into something that is ready for portfolios, grants, archives, and promotion.

No tech expertise required.
Just curiosity and your creative work.

Documenting Your Work With Ease - Neighborhood Workshop Series

4 week session

This small-group course helps artists build a sustainable documentation practice they can continue using long after the class ends.

Each session combines short lessons, hands-on practice, and supportive peer feedback, so you leave with real materials and a clear workflow.

You’ll learn how to:

• Capture strong photos and videos of your work
• Organize media so you can actually find it later
• Edit simple documentation clips
• Share your work professionally online
• Create a repeatable documentation workflow

Participants leave with finished, shareable materials and a practical system for documenting future projects.

Together, we’ll move from capturing your work → organizing it → shaping it → sharing it with clarity.

Come to all 4 sessions for the most support, or drop in as needed.

$100 for full series • $25 drop-in
